Ron Whitehead, a Louisville treasure, has done more than almost anyone else to honor Hunter Thompson in his hometown. Some years back, he invented Gonzofest and, with the help of Kelly Cook, created this book for the 2014 festival.

I’d flown into Louisville for the festival but learned of a death in the family immediately after landing and had to miss the event.

The large-size paperback includes work from a lot of contributors and reprints my 1990 interview with Hunter.
